Hubert Hilscher * worked as a graphic artist and a book cover designer * 25 October 1924 in Warsaw - 19 September 1999 in Warsaw * studied graphic art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw * art director of the magazine 'Projekt' * major awards: Silver Medal at the International Tourist Poster Exhibition in Milan, 1967; second prize at the 4th Poster Biennial in Lahti, 1981; the Prize of the Year in the Best Warsaw Poster competitiona in 1973, 1974, 1975, 1980.
